Camps

Ear training, song structure, rhythm patterns, and group playing are all part of this week-long introduction to music. In this music camp, students will learn about all the different rock instruments and begin their introduction to music theory and appreciation. This camp is designed for 5 to 7-year-old students who have little to no music experience. This five-day camp runs Monday through Friday with a performance at the end of the last day.

Want to play in a band onstage? Our Rock 101 camp is designed for beginners 7-12 years of age. No experience necessary! Students will explore their instruments through musical games and activities. Students will learn songs by artists such as the White Stripes, Green Day and Imagine Dragons (song selection will vary and is chosen by students with guidance from staff). Our nurturing environment makes this the perfect camp for budding musicians. Students will work on songs Monday through Friday and the camp will culminate in a concert at the end of the week for family and friends.

The 90s were one of music’s most important decades as alternative music took over the airwaves and popular culture. Come celebrate bands like The Cure, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Weezer and many more in our Best of the 90s summer camp. Students will spend Monday through Friday learning and practicing songs from the 90s, all culminating in a live performance. Great for students 10-17 years of age who have had some previous instruction.

Taylor Swift’s impact on music is undeniable, from Country to Indie Rock. Throughout the five days of this music camp, students will learn songs from all stages of Taylor’s career culminating in a live performance. This camp features great opportunities for not only vocalists but all instrumentalists as well. Great for young musicians 7-18 who have some previous instruction.
